My Lai Massacre 50th Anniversary
Events March 15-18, 2018
On March 16, 1968, 504 innocent women and children were killed by American soldiers. The 50th anniversary of the My Lai massacre was an occasion for our nation to acknowledge the millions of innocent civilians killed during the war, and to take responsibility for its ongoing humanitarian legacies.
MLK 50th Anniversary
January and April, 2018 & 2019
We lifted up Martin Luther King's powerful antiwar message with public events on both his national holiday in January and the 50th anniversary of his assassination on April 4, exactly one year after he delivered his eloquent and impassioned condemnation of the Vietnam War in 1967.

The Burns/Novick series was a major event that drew nationwide attention to the Vietnam War in a way we have not seen for decades. We and many others expressed major concerns about what the series missed. It's been distributed free to 25,000 high schools with a classroom study guide.

The Pentagon launched a 10 year campaign to honor Vietnam War era veterans and whitewash the history of the war. We're monitoring and challenging how the Pentagon portrays the war.
